Kelso Industries, an HVAC-focused contractor, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers on commercial and industrial HVAC projects. You will gain hands-on experience across planning, procurement, and field coordination, contributing to safe, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, mechanical, or HVAC projects or a related degree.
• Understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and installation practices.
• Strong organization to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in all phases of HVAC construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Maintain organized project records: contracts, drawings, submittals, permits, correspondence.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate project schedules with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
• Process subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and material procurement docs.
• Review equipment and material submittals for specs compliance.
• Generate and track RFIs and project communications.
• Assist in evaluating change orders and scope modifications.
• Reconcile invoices and project costs with accounting.
