Job summary

Airo Mechanical LLC is seeking an HVAC Project Manager for a large-scale multifamily project in North Carolina. The role blends field presence with strategic office leadership to coordinate subcontractors, manage materials and schedules, and drive project success through proactive risk and change management.

You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget, align with general conditions, and collaborate with GC, subs, and vendors to uphold quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Proven HVAC project experience in multifamily new construction, incl. high-rise.
• Experience with large-scale projects and change management.
• Knowledge of construction tech solutions.
• Understanding HVAC installation sequencing and coordination with trades.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of HVAC installation projects.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget for the project.
• Manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate materials.
• Collaborate with other trades to meet milestones.
• Process RFIs, ASIs, and Change Orders per contracts.
• Ensure documentation for project status using tools.
• Maintain communication with GC, subs, vendors, and teams.
• Track status, risks, and actions with PM tools.
• Provide strong field oversight and onsite presence.
