Job summary

EMCOR Group seeks a Project/Contract Coordinator to plan, organize, direct and control contract functions for HVAC retrofit projects. You will back up Project Managers on larger jobs, coordinate with clients, and ensure timely submittals and change orders.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC or building controls, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office is essential. This is an on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 3+ years HVAC or building controls experience.
• Experience drafting proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Create and manage design submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Work with Quality Control to review required QC documents.
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure on-time design & installation information.
• Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate purchase of supplies, equipment and services and maintain inventory control.
• Review and approve design submittals to ensure compliance.
