Job summary

EMCOR Services Aircond in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced HVAC Project Manager to supervise project and construction work for equipment replacements or design-build system upgrades. You will oversee crews and coordinate with engineers, suppliers and trades to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Based in our Columbia office, this role requires travel throughout the region and entails reviewing plans, managing budgets, and ensuring commissioning and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/MET or HVAC Engineering related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years HVAC project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to determine time frame, budget, procedures, staffing and resources.
• Direct and coordinate project personnel and subs; adjust schedules as needed.
• Assist in design and estimation of change orders and bids.
• Coordinate with engineering, crane and electrician teams for execution and safety compliance.
• Monitor and prepare project reports for management and clients.
• Complete commissioning procedures as specified.
