SPX Cooling Technologies in Overland Park, KS, is seeking an Engineer I to support multiple business units. You will perform design and analysis under supervision, explore product improvements, and help bring projects to market.

You will use 3D modeling, ERP concepts, and CAD tools to create models, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to process optimization.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with 3D modeling software.
• Understanding of ERP systems, BOM creation, and document management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams and present data.

Responsabilités

• Technical engineering design and support for products.
• Answer technical questions from internal and external customers.
• Identify opportunities for product and process improvements with BOMs and specifications.
• Perform finite element and structural analyses on products.
• Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and assembly manuals in ERP.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
• Stay updated on manufacturing technologies and industry trends.
