Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking an HVAC Systems Modeling Engineer to develop, validate, and apply analytical models for cooling towers and related thermal systems. You will support energy usage and lifecycle economics analyses across various climates and applications, including hyperscale data centers.

You will build tools and simulations to optimize system performance, contribute to product management and technical services, and help drive sustainable engineering solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience involving HVAC systems, thermal systems, energy analysis, or engineering simulation.
• Experience developing engineering models, simulations, or analytical tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Thermal Systems Modeling & Performance Analysis: Develop and validate analytical and physics-based models of cooling towers and associated thermal systems.
• Optimization, Data Analysis, & Engineering Tools: Perform optimization studies, analyze data, and develop engineering tools, dashboards, and automated calculation methods.
• Technical & Business Support: Provide engineering analysis and recommendations to Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and customers.
