Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, a leader in industrial HVAC solutions, seeks a Construction Project Engineer to coordinate project creation, scheduling, and budgeting for complex construction initiatives. You will support project managers with execution plans, progress monitoring, and stakeholder updates, while managing material costs and change orders.

The role requires 1–3 years in construction management, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction management experience or related role.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination and Execution: Create projects and enter orders in SAP while assisting Project Managers in developing execution plans and generating presentations.
• Schedule projects using MS Project or Primavera P6 and ensure construction activities align with drawings and specifications.
• Generate, review, and distribute submittals with progress updates and client reports.
• Budgeting, Cost Management, and Materials: develop budgets, track daily costs, manage change orders and material demands.
• Onsite Support and Project Closeout: provide PM support, travel for outages, and oversee closeout including O&M manuals.
