Job summary

Modigent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC to support commercial HVAC and integrated mechanical projects. You will assist the Project Manager with scheduling, budgeting, quality, and coordination across field teams, engineers, and subcontractors.

Role emphasizes HVAC design, installation, system performance, and compliance with ASHRAE/IMC; office-based with site visits, travel regionally as needed, and opportunities for growth within Modigent's nationwide operating companies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in project coordination, assistant PM, or field/operations in HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10/30 encouraged (company supports).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and overseeing HVAC projects including ductwork and piping.
• Support development of project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Track costs, budgets, and variances; assist in change orders and value engineering.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and clients for procurement, submittals, and installation.
• Monitor progress with site visits and report risks, safety, and performance metrics.
