Job summary

40 Harris Las Vegas, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support HVAC construction projects in Las Vegas. You will help maintain project standards, budgets, deadlines and communications, with duties spanning document control, procurement, cost tracking and field coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management and bring 2+ years of relevant experience, including familiarity with construction documents and basic estimating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the building & construction industry.
• 2+ years of experience with mechanical systems.
• 2+ years of experience with business administration and management principles.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support during all phases of HVAC construction.
• Assist in drafting, submitting and tracking RFIs and responses.
• Support in procurement, tool/equipment rentals and shipping coordination.
• Track labor productivity and collaborate with project team on cost control.
• Assist in estimation, scope/proposal development and preplanning meetings.
