Job summary

Harris Company seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support HVAC construction projects from initiation to closeout. You will manage documentation, coordinate with teams, and assist in RFIs, procurement, and safety programs to ensure schedule, budget and quality are met.

Ideal candidates will have a 2+ year background in construction and a Bachelor’s in a related field, with strong reading of drawings and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in building and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize project documents, drawings and RFIs.
• Attend field meetings and distribute meeting notes.
• Assist in drafting, submitting and tracking RFIs and responses.
• Support project costing and labor tracking in accounting software.
• Help maintain safety compliance and site safety practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers to estimate projects and track procurement.
