Job summary

Systems Contractors LLC, a Fidelity Company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, organization, and management of day-to-day operations on HVAC projects in Greensboro, NC. You will work with Project Managers, customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and properly documented.

The role emphasizes reading drawings, coordinating submittals, and maintaining equipment and material lists.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend project kickoff meetings with the Project Manager.
• Review drawings and specs to understand project scope.
• Coordinate submittals and equipment lists for tracking.
• Issue purchase orders and contracts as directed by the PM.
• Coordinate material deliveries, permits, inspections, and rentals.
• Prepare project manuals and shop load lists for coordination.
• Provide timely project updates and communicate potential delays.
