Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Product Specialist to lead a focus area (light commercial, ductless, E-Premium or VRV) and coordinate engagement with COD and Distributor Channel Partners. The role supports product lines and drives sales growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in HVAC, strong communication and project management skills, and will travel to field locations as needed. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; experience may substitute.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years related experience in HVAC; commercial and ductless product HVAC.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry experience may substitute.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with channel partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engagement and accomplishment of division sales objectives with COD & Distributor Channel Partners.
• Act as Division Product Champion to assist in developing COD & IND product sales opportunities and support product team with applications resources.
• Coordinate resolutions and corrective actions of field product quality issues.
• Conduct or participate in quality reviews with customers at their locations.
• Oversee production of technical literature, service training materials and service kits.
• Participate in product transition schedule meetings and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot and assist by phone distributors/branch/dealers on issues escalated to Management.
• Travel to field locations to resolve product problems escalated to Management.
• Provide resources to engage TSMs and support COD, IND channels.
• Serve as training resource to COD and IND channels.
