Job summary
Trane Technologies is seeking a Product Development Systems Engineer to drive design and integration of HVAC equipment for commercial scroll & screw heat pumps and chillers. You will lead product validation, collaborate with engineering teams, and address reliability issues to support product success.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of engineering experience; you will work onsite Monday-Thursday with Fridays offering flexible location choices,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering work experience.
- Experience with HVAC equipment design and testing.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop products for innovative chiller applications and expand offerings.
- Conduct new technology and product development to improve function, reliability or cost.
- Develop and improve tools and processes for design and integration of components.
- Perform engineering analysis to design, verify performance and reliability.
- Plan and direct laboratory tests and coordinate with suppliers on designs.
- Support or lead ad hoc teams on short duration projects.
- Work across development, production, design, marketing and suppliers.
