CyberCoders is seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Estimator for an onsite role in Denver, CO. The position involves preparing cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial mechanical projects, coordinating with operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to support preconstruction efforts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience in HVAC/plumbing, strong takeoff skills, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or MEP construction.
• Experience preparing takeoffs and detailed cost estimates.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare competitive bids, budgets, and proposals.
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in scope reviews, bid meetings, and project handoff meetings.
• Coordinate with project management and operations teams throughout the preconstruction process.
• Maintain estimating records and historical cost data.

Position Overview

The HVAC & Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. This role will work closely with operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project pursuits and preconstruction efforts.
