Job summary

Engtal, a well-established mechanical contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to support complex commercial and industrial projects throughout Colorado. You will own estimates, work with an experienced preconstruction team, and build a long-term career with a contractor that has been operating for more than a century.

The role focuses on leading estimates up to $1M, developing pricing for labor, materials, and subcontractors, and reviewing drawings and bid documents.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and/or process piping systems.
• Experience with institutional, healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, brewery, or industrial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and construction documents.
• QuickPen or AutoBid experience is a plus.
• Bluebeam and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
