Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer in the Northeast to join the MEP group. The role involves designing a broad range of plumbing systems from conceptual design through construction documents, with emphasis on Revit and AutoCAD proficiency and code compliance.

You will collaborate with design teams and clients to deliver accurate drawings and calculations. Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of plumbing design experience, a Degree in Drafting/Design, and

Qualifications

Degree in Drafting/Design from an accredited college or technical school.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience designing plumbing systems is required.
Certified Plumbing Design (CPD) credential is preferred.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Work with the design team from conceptual design through construction documents on plumbing system design.
Develop conceptual design options and iterate with the team and client to final construction documents.
Produce plumbing design documents from schematic design through construction documents using Revit, including calculations and specs.
Organize project requirements with minimal direction and ensure compliance with standards.
Know and apply code and regulatory requirements for plumbing design.
Manage deadlines and prioritize assignments effectively.
