Job summary

Famous Supply, a wholesale distributor, is seeking a Counter Sales Associate for our Tennessee branch. You will assist contractors in person and by phone, help them find the right plumbing and HVAC materials, and pull orders from the warehouse in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires HVAC/plumbing knowledge, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to operate a computer. Starting wage is $20/hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth at our family-owned company.

Qualifications

• HVAC and/or plumbing knowledge essential.
• Customer service mindset.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Ability to stand for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Understand customer needs
• Provide the products and solutions to meet customer needs
• Process and schedule customer orders
• Manage Open Orders and customer Bids
• Pull orders from the warehouse to serve customers
• Keep counter area clean and organized
