Job summary

Custom Mechanical Solutions, based in Idaho, is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to process orders and respond to inquiries. You will handle sales of HVAC parts and equipment over the phone, email, and in person, identify parts, and manage quotes and orders to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and HVAC parts experience is a plus. Office-based role with potential field involvement and a focus on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills are essential; HVAC parts background preferred.
• HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.
• Identify parts and process quotes and orders for customers.
• Promote product promotions to customers.
• May load/unload shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Respond to customer inquiries about products or services.
• Record inventory discrepancies and follow up with customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Exhibit strong organizational and customer service skills.
