Job summary

Green Air, Inc. is seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow HVAC preventive maintenance agreements across commercial and residential clients in Central Virginia.

You will identify prospects, build relationships with owners and facilities managers, and present tailored maintenance solutions to increase reliability and cost efficiency. This exempt, full-time role requires strong communication, negotiation, and CRM skills, plus willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in a business-to-business outside sales role.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, proposals, and accounts independently.
• Comfort with CRM software, email, spreadsheets, and basic sales reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and pursue new customers for HVAC preventive maintenance agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, facility managers, contractors, and business clients.
• Assess customer needs and recommend maintenance programs that support system reliability, comfort, compliance, and cost control.
• Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and service agreement options clearly.
• Follow up on leads, referrals, expired agreements, and past customers to generate repeat business.
• Coordinate with service, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through ongoing maintenance delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, pipeline updates, and contract details in the CRM or sales system.
• Stay informed about HVAC industry trends, competitor offerings, customer needs, and company service capabilities.
