Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Chandler, AZ to operate and maintain production stations for assembling HVAC and chiller units. You will align, adjust, and test components to meet precise tolerances while following standard procedures.

The role involves working with hand and power tools on an onsite production line, with a four 10-hour shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and potential contract-to-hire progression. Competitive hourly pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic schematics.
• Willingness to learn brazing techniques to weld joints of copper parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production stations used to assemble HVAC and chiller units.
• Assemble, align, and adjust parts to meet specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools and assembly line equipment safely.
• Test and calibrate parts to ensure tolerances and quality.
• Follow procedures to maintain consistent quality and performance.
• Inspect components and take corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and maintain safety.
