Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Phoenix, AZ to build, wire, and test electrical systems for advanced refrigeration equipment. You will install control panels, motors, sensors, and high-voltage wiring according to engineering specs and wiring diagrams.

The role involves reading schematics, handling cables from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG, performing voltage tests, and troubleshooting while maintaining a safe, efficient production environment. The position is contract-to-hire with onsite work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience handling cables from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG DLO.
• Basic knowledge of voltage testing methods and safe volt tests.
• Ability to discuss and apply basic troubleshooting concepts for electrical systems.
• Understanding of electrical components and their uses in a system.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Wire chiller units from scratch following wiring diagrams.
• Install and connect components such as contactors, relays, sensors, motors and control panels.
• Read schematics to ensure accurate assembly and connections.
• Test voltage and verify system functionality and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve problems.
• Maintain safety standards and organize a clean work area.
• Adhere to established assembly processes and engineering specs.
• Lift and move components up to 75 pounds as needed.
