Job summary

United CoolAir, LLC in York, PA is seeking a motivated Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble HVAC components from blueprints and instructions, using various hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Quality inspections are integrated into each step to ensure equipment meets customer requirements.

The role is full-time with typical Monday–Thursday shifts, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm and potential overtime to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous work experience in a fast paced, and dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Experience and ability to work in a team setting.
• An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, positive individual who can think innovatively.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned product manufacturing and or assembly responsibilities.
• Assemble HVAC components based on blueprints, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
• Use a variety of hand, power and or pneumatic tools to complete the assembly and or system within the customer equipment.
• Perform in-process checks and inspections throughout the process.
• Complete shop paperwork / records to ensure that equipment is being built in accordance with the manufacturing / customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Comply with the safety regulations and properly utilize personal protective equipment.
• Abide by all internal United CoolAir polices to foster a safe, efficient, and exciting work environment.
• Work with your manufacturing lead and team to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Collaborate with various departments when necessary to provide the highest quality product to your customers.
• Offer suggestions to streamline assembly processes and improve efficiency.
