Job description

An HVAC Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and machinery, supporting the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As an HVAC Mechanic, your responsibilities include:

• Responding promptly to guest calls and team member work orders to correct temperature conditions and make adjustments.
• Maintaining, monitoring, repairing, and performing routine and non-scheduled maintenance on all HVAC equipment, such as replacing mechanical seals, re-packing pumps and valves, replacing bearings, checking alignment, repairing fan coil units, brazing and soldering, calibrating controls, working on pressure vessels, and replacing piping and fittings.
• Recording and reporting completed repairs and items needing further attention.
• Conducting visual inspections of gauges, dials, and mechanical equipment.
• Assisting in the start-up, shut-down, and operation of HVAC systems.
