An HVAC Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and machinery, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As an HVAC Mechanic, your responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and conducting routine and non-scheduled maintenance on all HVAC equipment. Tasks involve replacing mechanical seals, re-packing pumps and valves, replacing bearings, checking alignments, repairing fan coil units, brazing, soldering, calibrating controls, and working on pressure vessels, piping, and fittings. You will respond promptly to guest calls and work orders, record repairs, conduct visual inspections, and assist in the start-up, shut-down, and operation of HVAC systems.
