Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition
• Handle refrigerant recovery and recycling
• Operate building control systems, including Johnson Controls EMS-Metasys
• Coordinate with building managers and client representatives to ensure satisfaction
• Document work accurately on trouble tickets and work orders
• Install or remove systems, hardware, and equipment as needed
• Manage materials, supplies, and inventory for timely completion of tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check for a government site badge
• Registered for Selective Service if applicable
• 15+ years experience with commercial HVAC systems
• HVAC Journeyman certification preferred but not required
• Experience with equipment installation
• Completed coursework in HVAC
• Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V, HVAC, and plumbing
• Universal CFC Certification
• Strong proficiency in building operations
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license
