Job description

Job Summary

Program, startup, commission, and integrate commercial HVAC control systems. Develop building automation system front end solutions.

Essential Duties and Tasks
  1. Read and understand HVAC equipment sequence of operations and project drawings.
  2. Apply sequence of operations to 'block and wire' programs.
  3. Engineer a Niagara AX/Niagara 4 station.
  4. Startup and commission controllers, including integration into Niagara stations.
  5. Verify functionality of sensors and actuators and troubleshoot issues.
  6. Develop graphical user interfaces based on project specifications and standards.
  7. Provide owner training and support.
Responsibilities

The Controls Technician will handle service calls and work on larger projects under management, including reading control specifications, working in various environments, and physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in controls or equivalent training.
  • Tridium AX or N4 certification recommended or experience with DDC, PLC, or Ladder-Logic programming.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and solve problems.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
  • Availability to report to multiple sites and work varied schedules.
  • Physical ability to use tools, ladders, and identify cable colors.
