Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a skilled Make-Ready Technician with HVAC experience to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. You will perform HVAC service, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring apartments meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, door and fixture repairs, appliance installation, flooring, and minor carpentry while maintaining safety and EPA compliance. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC experience required with EPA Type II or Universal preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy within designated turnaround timelines.
• Perform HVAC servicing and preventive maintenance on systems.
• Repair drywall, painting, patching, and carpentry as needed.
• Inspect units and ensure quality before move-in.
• Complete work orders promptly and document tasks.
