Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in residential maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance manuals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of vacant residential units to assess maintenance and repair needs.
  • Complete a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, flooring replacement, appliance installation, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Coordinate with property management to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of make-ready processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each unit.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job description

The Make Ready Technician plays a critical role in preparing residential rental units for new tenants by ensuring all maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The technician will be responsible for inspecting units, identifying necessary repairs, and executing tasks that enhance the overall living experience for incoming residents. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in residential maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting techniques.
