Job summary

QPS Employment Group seeks a skilled Make-Ready Technician with HVAC experience to prepare vacant apartments for new residents. Responsibilities include repairs, HVAC service, inspections, and on-site maintenance to meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, HVAC know-how, EPA Type II/Universal certification, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-site shift, Mon-Fri, with safety focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years apartment maintenance or related experience preferred.
• HVAC experience required with EPA certification.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy within turnaround timelines.
• Inspect vacant units and identify repairs.
• Repair drywall, paint, touch-ups and patch walls.
• Install/repair appliances, doors, windows and fixtures.
• Perform HVAC service and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures and EPA compliance.
