Job summary

Columbia Residential Properties, LLC is seeking a Community Service Technician to maintain the physical condition and appearance of the site and perform day-to-day tasks per the service manager’s guidance. This role may include duties of the Community Service Supervisor depending on assignment.

The position requires HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification and a valid driver’s license, with a minimum of three years related experience in trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Trade School preferred.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification and CPO required or preferred.
• Minimum of three years related maintenance experience; knowledge of trades including carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous service to residents and follows up on requests.
• Performs maintenance on make-ready units and repairs as directed; installs major appliances.
• Cleans and maintains common areas and building systems; reports deficiencies to supervisors.
• Adheres to safety programs and company policies.
