B5 Recruiting is partnered with a large property management organization seeking Maintenance Technicians in Greenwood, SC. You will perform a range of trades to keep residences safe, attractive, and well-maintained, participate in on-call rotations, and support turnover for new residents.

This contract-to-hire role emphasizes hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, roofing, and flooring, with a focus on reliability, documentation, and proactive upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience working with HVAC.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Local in Greenwood, SC.
• Certifications such as HVAC, CFC, or CPO preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
• Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).
• Check irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Plumbing, Basic electrical, Appliances, Carpentry & drywall, Roofing & flooring.

As a Maintenance tech you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to their residence ensuring the property is safe, attractive, and well-maintained. You’ll work closely with our property management team and gain hands-on experience in a variety of trades. This role will be a contract to hire opportunity.
