SSC Services for Education is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance for facilities engineering under supervision by a supervisor or master mechanic. The role covers HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems and requires independent problem solving within the trade.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of institutional maintenance experience, valid licenses such as Journeyman Electrical, EPA certification, or Journeyman Plumber, plus the ability to lift heavy

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics. Valid driver's license.
• General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and basic reactive repairs.
• Updates work statuses and documents tasks in CMMS.
• Assists in determining manpower, material needs, and deadlines.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical systems and related equipment.
• Reviews outside vendor projects and creates punch lists.
