Job summary

EMCOR Mesa Energy Systems in California seeks a Maintenance Sales Associate to cultivate new client relationships and expand maintenance contracts across markets. You will inform clients about maintenance, repair, replacement, and energy efficiency packages with the goal of selling Mesa products and services.

Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting, and following through with opportunities; developing proposals; and collaborating with multiple teams to maximize sales across the local

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in HVAC commercial, chiller or maintenance service sales.
• Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
• Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
• Independent decision making is required.
• Computer skills using MS Office 365 required. Strong Excel skills are required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the MVR requirements. Must also have an operating vehicle to use during business.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at extended heights.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new accounts, providing clients with product services/information and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Develop sales presentations and follow through with each client and opportunity.
• Collaborate with VP of Business Development and Director of Sales and other teams to meet objectives.
• Manage through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability in the Local Market Area.
• Identify customer needs and discuss Mesa solutions; prepare proposals and presentations.
• Develop, write, and review client proposal documents using EMCOR/Mesa templates and pricing models.
• Grow sales at defined margins while ensuring profitable bottom line.
• Coordinate with other departments to support the sales process.
• Attend product and sales trainings and meet annual sales plans.
• Other duties as directed.
