Job summary

Authority Brands in Loveland, CO is looking for an HVAC Lead Installation Technician to oversee the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. The Lead supervises the Installation Technician to ensure workmanship meets company standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include designing and fabricating ducts, performing start-ups, communicating with customers, training apprentices, and maintaining safe working conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of residential installation experience with solid references.
• EPA and NATE certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment and accessories per company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Design, fabricate, and install ducts and duct fittings.
• Perform limited diagnostics.
• Maintain a clean work area and protect client floors.
• Conduct before/after walkthroughs of the home and identify damages.
• Complete installation forms reflecting tasks performed for reporting.
• Communicate scope of work to customers and address questions or concerns.
• Perform start-ups on heating and cooling systems and components.
• Maintain safe working conditions for the installation crew.
• Train apprentices on various aspects of the job, including air handling and gas line installations.
• Abide by company standards and code of ethics.
