Job summary

Action Air Plumbing & Septic is expanding its HVAC apprentice program in Lubbock, TX. We’re seeking ambitious individuals who want hands-on training on real job sites and the chance to grow into lead installer roles.

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced installers, receive structured training, and enjoy a health insurance stipend, PTO, and steady year-round work with at least 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• No experience required, construction or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ and work in attics or crawl spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HVAC system installations in residential homes.
• Help set equipment, run ductwork, and prepare job sites.
• Learn proper installation techniques—not shortcuts.
• Keep tools, trucks, and job sites clean and organized.
• Support the lead installer and contribute to the team.
• Ask questions, learn fast, and take ownership of your growth.
