Job summary

Sol Aire Air Conditioning in Florida is seeking an HVAC Installer to lead residential and light commercial installations from start to finish. You will size, install, test, and commission systems so they operate correctly on the first start, ensuring customer comfort for years.

You’ll read blueprints, run refrigerant lines, ductwork, and electrical connections, while maintaining safety and code compliance on every job. This role requires on-site work and driving to multiple sites daily.

Qualifications

• Experienced HVAC installers with a proven track record of quality installs.
• HVAC school graduates with hands-on install experience.
• Dependable, motivated people who show up on time, work hard, and want to build a career, not just clock in for a paycheck.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical, refrigerant, and ductwork systems.
• EPA 608 certification (or ability to obtain one quickly).

Responsibilities

• Install new residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to complete installs correctly.
• Run and connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and ductwork in accordance with code and manufacturer requirements.
• Test and start up new systems, confirming proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and overall performance.
• Remove and dispose of old equipment safely and in compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with the install team and lead helpers or apprentices on the job site.
• Communicate clearly with customers about the install process, system operation, and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site from start to finish.
• Keep accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any permits or inspections required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions, and able to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver heavy equipment
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time
