Job summary

Mechanical Technologies LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to quote, design, order and track HVAC systems for engineering firms and contractors in the NYC Metro area, Long Island and Westchester. You will collaborate with Outside Sales to move deals efficiently and accurately.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in HVAC, familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus, and a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $78,000 per year with room for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, design, order and track HVAC equipment for engineers and contractors.
• Support Outside Sales with clients, deals and projects.
• Use selection software to create systems for engineers and contractors.
• Review design plans and provide pricing; create proposals and generate pricing.
• Place and track orders through manufacturers; ensure timely delivery and lead times.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide on-site equipment packets and maintenance guides.
• Coordinate training for equipment or services when needed.
