Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an experienced Commercial Inside Sales Representative to support key HVAC dealers and contractors in the Northeastern New Jersey market. You will handle pre- and post-order support and drive add-on sales opportunities.

The role requires 1-3 years HVAC industry experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; salary is 70K-80K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or technical degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer call center/order entry experience.
• 1-3 years of HVAC commercial/residential industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior engagement for sales follow-up and customer service to both external and internal customers.
• Support the Commercial Rooftop customer sales phone/order queue.
• Assist with the maintenance and follow-up of open customer orders/sales support.
• Provide technical post-sale support to the sales organization, including monitoring shipping, delivery and return status, as required.
• Handle incoming customer requests for orders and product information (equipment specifications and applications).
• Work with customers, sales, and internal/external suppliers to resolve issues as they arise.
• Work with Warranty Team to support customer claims and questions as needed.
• Support add-on sales opportunities when receiving and processing customer orders.
• Drive technology and tool adoption within customer groups and sales channels to utilize tools
• WATSCO Ventures technology suite- Easy Stock, On Call Air, House call Pro, Credit for Comfort
• Utilize eComm tools-- Website and Mobile App, Salesforce
• Utilize Contractor Assist -- Pick-up Express
• Demonstrated performance history and knowledge of the HVAC industry. A working knowledge of residential and commercial products, including replacement configurations, substitutions, and sell-up strategies, is highly desired.
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management
