Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Professional - Driver to identify and fulfill customer needs, process orders, and provide high-level service at our Opelika location. This role blends sales, customer support, and light warehouse duties, including occasional forklift use.

Responsibilities include handling in-person and remote orders, promoting products, and supporting long-term customer relationships. HVAC industry familiarity and a valid driver’s license are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry preferred.
• Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
• Meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in person, by phone, fax, and online; include transfers and delivery requests.
• Locate parts, equipment, and supplies from various sources.
• Support long-term customer relationships to promote sales growth.
• Assist in warehouse duties and occasional forklift operation.
• Promote products, upgrades, and services to customers.
• Provide technical support and problem solving for customers.
• Identify prospective customers and relay to sales team.
• Maintain showroom shelves and product displays.
