Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. seeks a professional CSR/Inside Sales representative for our Allen, TX branch.

You will sell HVAC products and services, assist customers face-to-face, by phone, or via email, and ensure a smooth sales process with accurate order handling. You will collaborate with the Branch/Regional Manager to grow dealer relationships, provide product information, coordinate shipments, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
• General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as working knowledge of database applications.
• Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship management skills via walk-ins, phone, and email.
• Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers with ability to diffuse negative situations.
• Good phone etiquette and e-mail etiquette.
• Ability to deal with high-volume customer traffic.
• Effective verbal skills – must be able to explain fairly technical parts of information clearly.
• Written skills – must be able to effectively & timely communicate via e-mail with customers & input orders accurately.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services to customers face-to-face, by phone, or via email/fax to support sales goals.
• Handle customer inquiries, questions, and needs by understanding requirements and providing solutions.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates with accuracy.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
• Coordinate shipments with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors.
• Provide product and technical information to generate new and repeat sales.
• Educate customers on product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and satisfaction.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
• Expand knowledge of HVAC products and stay current with industry trends.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
