Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, wholesale distribution, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with contractors, maintenance professionals, or trade customers is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn business software systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and through email.
• Process sales orders, quotes, returns, and inquiries accurately.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and applications.
• Support customers with product information and order status updates.
• Follow up on quotes and open orders.
• Coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, and other departments to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Support inventory activities, including receiving, stocking, and order pulling as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter area.
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
