Job summary

Lebanon Special School District is seeking a General Maintenance/HVAC Technician to perform HVAC maintenance and other general maintenance tasks across facilities in Lebanon, TN. The role requires hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems and the ability to work with a maintenance team to keep school facilities running smoothly.

The technician will operate control systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance/HVAC experience.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license with a clean driving record.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn/operate building energy management control system at a basic level.
• Repair, replace, or install electrical or hydraulic control systems on HVAC.
• Maintain HVAC systems and components for efficiency and reliability.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems (coil cleaning, filters, belts).
• Coordinate with supervisor and other staff to minimize disruption to school activities.
