Job summary

Cleveland City Schools is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician in Cleveland, TN to join the Operations team. The role focuses on maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring assets operate at peak performance, and supporting building operations to maximize uptime.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of industrial HVAC/refrigeration experience, EPA 608 certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of verifiable experience as Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician with diploma from a recognized program.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, install, and maintain water source HVAC equipment, water loops, water pumps and boilers.
• Operate energy management systems, frequency drives and gas package systems.
• Repair and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures per code.
• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Inspect facilities for defects and ensure safe operation.
• Follow safety rules and handle tools, equipment, and materials properly.
