Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking a skilled HVAC maintenance technician to lead and perform maintenance, repair, and alteration work on buildings and mechanical systems, with a focus on HVAC. The role requires diagnosing faults, installing equipment, and ensuring safety standards across facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, a universal refrigerant certification, and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and minimum of 3 years commercial HVAC experience.
• Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid Driver License may be required for some positions.
• Accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on environmental systems.
• Replace or clean filters and maintain air quality.
• Check refrigerant levels and add as needed.
• Inspect and repair vents, ducts, thermostats and HVAC components.
• Install and troubleshoot HVAC units and piping.
