Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for field service and maintenance. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer sites in a defined market.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, using blueprints and tools, and maintaining safety and asset accountability. Expect heavy focus on on-site diagnostics, customer interaction, and availability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; EPA certification preferred or required as noted.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical schooling or training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with clean driving record in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team lead and customer to understand on-site installation and repairs; forecast issues and gather materials.
• Serve as direct customer contact; diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units; observe safety standards.
