Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer locations. You will work with a variety of hand-tools, smartphones, and iPads to follow blueprints and engineering specifications while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, staying flexible for overtime or overnight stays, and leveraging knowledge of air conditioning theory and mechanical layouts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repairs.
• Serve as direct customer contact for projects, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Use tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets at the site.
