Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an on-site HVAC technician to support installation and repair work across customer projects. You will collaborate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements, forecast issues, and synchronize materials and on-site activities.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and 0–2 years HVAC experience, with EPA certification preferred. A valid driver’s license is required and overtime/weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 0–2 years of HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
• Assist the Technician as a direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
• Use software, tools, and blueprints/engineer specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Possess flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain safety and accountability of company assets by recording use and wear.
