Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, start-up, warranty, and repair work on light commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

The role emphasizes customer service and may include after-hours calls for emergency repairs. The technician will read blueprints and manuals to diagnose issues, use HVAC tools, and coordinate with various trades for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or HVAC/equivalent from technical/trade school.
• Five or more years related experience preferred.
• EPA universal certification required; Refrigerant handling knowledge.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Service a variety of HVAC products and equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Read and understand blueprints, manuals, and specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Use hand-tools and specialty equipment typical of the HVAC trade.
• Diagnose and repair systems at customer locations.
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining layout and coordinating trades.
