Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. seeks an HVAC and Chiller Service Technician in Charlotte, NC to perform preventive maintenance, startup, warranty, and repair services on light commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Strong customer service focus with possible after-hours callouts.

You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and coordinate parts and on-site work. Travel is limited; overtime may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical HVAC certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience preferred.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Universal preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Pre-hire checks including background, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform chiller maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial/commercial settings.
• Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and specs for repairs.
• Complete field service reports and paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide technical support to customers and coordinate with on-site trades.
