Job summary
Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to provide advanced maintenance, start-up, warranty, and repair services on light commercial and industrial systems.
This role emphasizes customer service, technical leadership, and mentorship of junior technicians, with after-hours call-outs possible. Reporting to the Area Manager or Director of Technical Operations, the technician will diagnose complex systems, read blueprints, and develop long-term reliability
Qualifications
- Eight to ten years of related HVAC service experience.
- Experience mentoring or leading technicians.
- EPA Universal certification required; additional certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead technicians on complex commercial/industrial HVAC service calls.
- Service a wide variety of HVAC products and equipment with high customer satisfaction.
- Read and apply blueprints, manuals, and control schematics to diagnose and repair units.
- Mentor and train junior technicians; review their work for accuracy.
- Document work via field service reports and equipment log sheets; ensure timely paperwork.
